Editorial & Attribution Policy

How we source, verify, attribute and publish the news — and how we stay accountable.

Last updated: September 2025

Bharat Media, operated by Bharat Media LLC, is committed to accurate, fair and transparent journalism. This policy explains how our newsroom works.

Sourcing & aggregation

We aggregate news from a curated set of publishers, each rated for authority and reliability. For third-party reporting we publish a headline, a short summary and the key image, and we link back to the original article so you can read it in full at the source. We do not republish full third-party articles.

Attribution

Every aggregated story names its source and links to the original. Where a story is reported by multiple outlets, we cluster them and list additional coverage under “Also reported by”. Original reporting produced by our own journalists is clearly marked as a Bharat Media Original.

Verification

Our pipeline prioritises trusted, high-authority sources and de-duplicates near-identical reports. Editors review flagged and breaking stories. When facts are disputed or developing, we say so.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial considerations. Advertising and sponsored content are always clearly labelled and kept separate from the newsroom.

Corrections

We correct errors promptly and transparently. To report a mistake, see our corrections policy. To learn how we evaluate publishers, visit our sources page.
