Nifty Bank jumped 1.4% in morning trade to an intraday high of 55,192.65, with HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank, YES Bank, and AU Small Finance Bank among top gainers. Some of them, however, slipped into the red as the day progressed due to profit booking.

Yes Bank shares rise 3% after Q2 business update shows loans surging 24% YoY, deposits up 20%
Yes Bank shares rose after the lender reported a 23.8% YoY growth in loans and advances to around Rs 3.1 lakh crore in Q2 FY27. Deposits also grew nearly 20% YoY, signalling continued business momentum.
